If you are considering Laser Hair Reduction (LHR) for the upcoming summer season, now is the time to start. Yep, you read that right. The reason behind that is because Laser Hair Reduction is not a “one-and-done” procedure. It takes time and patience but, trust us, it is worth it!

The treatments are fast (approximately 15 to 60 minutes depending on area(s) treated) and a numbing cream can be used to make you more comfortable.
Laser Hair Reduction is Permanent*
For many clients, up to 95% of the targeted hair will be gone by your 5th treatment.
* LHR is not permanent for everyone but it does permanently reduce hair growth. If hair grows back, it most likely will be lighter, finer, and fewer in number. At Blu Cocoon, we may recommend touch-up treatments for best results (your nurse will tell you).
Some items to note about Laser Hair Reduction:
- Most people require a series of 5 treatments (at minimum) every 6 to 8 weeks (or 4 to 6 weeks for facial hair).
- To prep for the treatment, the area being treated should not be plucked or waxed for at least 2 weeks before the treatment.
- When you come in for a consultation, please be prepared to show the nurse the area(s) that you would like to be treated with 1 to 2 days of hair growth.
